Sponsor a spoke: CSI that stays local

Fund TrailTherapy delivery in the community where your business operates, with evidence, reporting and recognition your board can put in the annual report.

The question you are actually asking

You are asking whether this will stand up in the boardroom: is it measurable, reportable, defensible, and still running in three years? Fair. So here is the model in one line: our hub designs, trains and measures; your sponsorship funds a spoke, the visible, tangible delivery of TrailTherapy in one school community, and everything in it is itemised and reported.

How a sponsorship works

01

Choose your spoke

We map your operational footprint against our current and pipeline school communities. Sponsoring where your people live and work is what makes this CSI with a face, not a logo on a jersey somewhere.

02

Agree the package

A site sponsorship covers the tangible delivery of one spoke: bicycles and maintenance, facilitator stipends, food after every session, and transport where needed. You see the itemised budget before you sign anything.

03

Delivery and reporting

Sessions run weekly through the school year. You receive termly reports with delivery figures, MEL-cleared outcomes and facilitator stories, plus an annual summary written for board and B-BBEE reporting rather than for our marketing.

04

Bring your people in

Site visits within safeguarding rules, volunteer days, and a Keep Going corporate team if your people ride. Sponsorship works hardest when your staff can see and feel what it funds.

Keep Going for corporate teams

Enter a five-rider corporate team for the Absa Cape Epic or the Cape Town Cycle Tour. We are an official charity partner of both, so entry is guaranteed rather than balloted. It is a partnership product rather than a donation: your team rides in Pedal For Good colours, carries a story kit, and fundraises for the programme, and your brand is part of the peloton at the year’s most visible cycling moments.

Your board paper needs more than photographs. TrailTherapy is measured with validated clinical instruments on a defined cycle, against a published Theory of Change, with results reported whatever they show. All of it is public.

There are four ways to work with us. If this is not the right one, they are set out together on the Work With Us page.

What a board paper needs

Section 18A. Pedal For Good is a registered Public Benefit Organisation and sponsorships qualify for Section 18A tax certificates, issued with audit-ready records. NPO 263-878-NPO · PBO 930072747 · registered entity Pedal Project NPC.

B-BBEE. Site sponsorships are structured to support recognition under the socio-economic development element. We provide the documentation; scoring is confirmed with your verification agency, and we will not overclaim what we cannot certify.

Reporting cadence. Termly delivery and outcome reports, an annual sponsor summary, and figures that pass our MEL sign-off before they reach your board pack. Nothing you republish from us will need retracting.

Brand use. We agree recognition upfront: site naming, report credits, event presence. We do not put logos on children, and photography follows recorded consent for each specific use. Boards remember scandals longer than logos; ours protects both of us.

We will only use your address for this. We will not share or sell it. Read our privacy notice. Business enquiries are transactional; marketing consent is the separate tick above and is never assumed.

Ready for the itemised site budget? Write to Jaco van der Linde at hallo@pedalforgood.com and we will bring it to your office. We reply within two working days.

Participation in measurement requires caregiver consent and the young person’s own assent, with separate media release forms. Children appear in photographs on this site only where that release is on file.
